Share A Secret Reviewed looks at the weekly Share A Secret column in Australia's biggest-selling magazine, Woman's Day. We at Gusworld love it, and we hope you will too. We don't give away the plot (that would be unfair and a possible breach of copyright); we just tell you what the headline is and describe the stunning artwork that goes with it.
The section got dumped because (a) Woman's Day dropped the picture and the tacky headline, making it much less interesting and (b) it became part of the short-lived Media Blotch (see below).
Media Blotch tracked what was going on in the regular columns of most of Australia's best-selling trash weeklies. It got dumped when I got bored with it because all of the sections were far too repetitive.
Good Living Cheese Watch counted how often cheese got mentioned in the Sydney Morning Herald's Good Living section. It got dumped because I couldn't cope with reading so much pretentious crap every week.
Dumb Quotes from Pageant Life was just what it says: stupid quotes from America's premier beauty pageant magazine. This magazine was so stupid, it makes Amanda Vanstone look clued in. The section would probably still be going if (a) our subscription hadn't expired and (b) the magazine folded. Nonetheless, Gusworld remains committed to the cause of exposing how stupid pageants are
Quote Of The Moment, for the two people who once asked, was just some utterance I was taken with. It has gone into recess because I decided that it was editorially weak.
