Share A Secret Reviewed looks at the weekly Share A Secret column in Australia's biggest-selling magazine, Woman's Day. We at Gusworld love it, and we hope you will too. We don't give away the plot (that would be unfair and a possible breach of copyright); we just tell you what the headline is and describe the stunning artwork that goes with it. |
Well, quite frankly this is the last straw. Not content with ditching the picture from Share A Secret, now Woman's Day has removed the last vestige of tackiness by eliminating the introduction to the story. All we're left with is a collage of lame pastels and a picture of some pleb.
Let's face it, you'd never guess from the above headline that the story was about a bitter lesbian who became resentful when her partner found a man for herself, would you? This just isn't good enough. How am I supposed to write bitchy comments about such lame material?
As it stands, I think I'll have to redesign this section to highlight some of the other hidden tack in Australia's leading magazines. Watch this space.
