ABBA
ABBA are undoubtedly my favourite musical outfit of all time. When I originally decided to put something up on the Web about them back in 1996, the main challenge was to come up with stuff that other people weren't already offering (even then, there was a lot of it about). Fast forward to today, and there's really no need for a half-baked ABBA site, but I'm persisting nonethless. Currently, I have on offer:
- Mamma Mia!, a section on the mega-successful ABBA musical;
- Chess In Melbourne Picture Gallery, which features lots of shots from the ill-fated 1997 production;
- ABBA: The Dedicated Fan's CD Guide: where to find which version of which track on which CD. This is no longer current, but it was the first big reference document I ever put online, so it stays for sentimental reasons;
- Chart positions for all the band's singles and albums in Australia, the UK and the US;
- A historical set of bookmarks to other sites, which I've kept for reasons of sheer perversity;
- Great ABBA Songs For The Computer Industry, which are either self-explanatory or irrelevant for most people. But there you go.
