I WANTED TO LOOK LIKE DOLLY PARTON

She'd do anything to keep her man, even if it meant changing her body and face so she'd be the image of his dream woman

Sadly, the strategy didn't work, at least not for the Woman's Day stylists. Sure, the red lips and red nails and blonde hair are there, but, to be frank, the jugs just don't cut it. Or the schnozz, for that matter.

Still, with a headline like that, who needs good illustrative material? The searing tale of a country singer who makes herself into a Dolly clone just to shunt some sad-act called Roy (truly) is just what the doctor ordered. And there's a twist at the end as well (well, given the context, it's more of a pretzel, but what do you expect?)
