Rant Of The Day is where I get to mouth off about whatever I feel like for however long I like. Theoretically, I'll update my whinge/opinion piece every weekday; in practice, maybe not so often.

The gaps are getting longer

Rant of the day my arse. It's been a month since the last one. It's also been more than a month since the last Single Of The Week, and let's not even think about what Dannii Minogue might have been up to. So much for my theory, presented during the last update, that this site's activity could be measured by how hard I was being pushed at work. Either I was talking complete bollocks, or work is even worse than usual. Both might be true.

As ever, I'm grateful for the steady flow of mail which has continued despite my own sloth, and apologies to those I haven't replied to yet. Apologies also to anyone who has accidentally been added to the Gusworld mailing list -- my mail software screwed up and in reconstructing it, I may have added a few people who long ago expressed a desire to leave. I hope not, but you never know.

My ambition this week is to have at least one more update. Time will tell if ambition is a dead horse or not.
