Milly-Molly-Mandy and the Gang

From Milly-Molly-Mandy Again (1948)

SUMMARY: After a gang runs riot in the village, Milly-Molly-Mandy and her friends form a rival gang dedicated to doing good.

The "shabby" boy who first appeared in Milly-Molly-Mandy Goes to a Fête finally gets a name, Timmy Biggs. Just as well, since Milly-Molly-Mandy and company have to rescue him from the gang's clutches. The entire plot of this story -- in which the 'bad' gang is eventually convinced to join the forces of good -- is improbable in the extreme, but quite typical of late-period Milly-Molly-Mandy.
