Milly-Molly-Mandy Gets Up Early

From More of Milly-Molly-Mandy (1929)

SUMMARY: Milly-Molly-Mandy, little-friend-Susan and Billy Blunt get up early and help pick mushrooms for the shabbily-dressed boy.

We learn that the shabbily-dressed boy (just seen in Milly-Molly-Mandy Goes to a Fête) lives with his grandfather, but we still don't learn his name. Milly-Molly-Mandy wears a petticoat under her trademark pink-striped cotton frock, and sleeps in a cot in her parents' room (which might explain why she's an only child).
