Mighty Morphin' Dannii Minogue

By day, she is Dannii Minogue, well known TV presenter, actress, successful singer and all-round Minogue. When danger threatens, though, she is transformed into Mighty Morphin' Dannii Minogue, a mega super-heroine with a strange fondness for tight vinyl costumes and mood lighting. And now you can read about her adventures exclusively on Gusworld.

Stadium Skirmish

As the final notes of 'Those Magic Changes' echoed around the Sydney Entertainment Centre, Dannii ran offstage and back to her dressing room and sighed contentedly. She was sure her appearance in Grease - The Arena Spectacular was going to be yet another triumph in her glittering career. She'd had to order extra topical cream to cope with the bouts of thrush brought on by the tight vinyl pants, but Dannii would do anything for her fans.

Before leaving for a profile interview with TV Week, Dannii sat down and began removing her stage makeup with practised skill. It was as she was spraying her pits with Australis deodorant that she was alerted by a sound. It sounded as if there was a mass murderer slaughtering the rest of the cast on stage with a machine gun!

"Danger threatens," she said to herself. "I must transform myself into Mighty Morphin' Dannii Minogue." Using her secret mystical powers and reciting the magic words 'This Is It' under her breath, she span around in circles and transformed herself into the vinyl-clad super-heroine.

In one swift movement, she had dashed out of the dressing room and concealed herself at the side of the stage. A young hoodlum with a punk haircut was threatening Craig McLachlan with his weapon, while several lesser cast members lay bleeding on the sidelines. She recognised the hoodlum as 'Terrorist Tony', a well-known insane maniac and celebrity stalker. Dannii instantly sprang into action.

Slam! A rapid triple somersault flying kick, which she planned to use on Tottie Goldsmith if the need arose, sent Tony tumbling to the ground. To make sure, Dannii kicked him repeatedly until his spleen was the texture of tofu. Pausing only to spit in his general direction, Dannii raced back into her dressing room.

The remaining live cast members gasped with astonishment, unsure of the whirling dervish that had saved them from mass slaughter and a probable cover appearance on New Weekly. Little did they know that Mighty Morphin' Dannii Minogue had saved the streets from crime once more.

Her task accomplished, Dannii sighed contentedly. "Another Success!" she said to herself, as she set off to meet the TV Week reporter.
